This month’s Guests:

Headliner: Taylor Tomlinson (Last Comic Standing)

taylor tomlinson headshotTaylor Tomlinson started doing stand up comedy at just sixteen years old, when she realized that her quiet, sarcastic asides were not being adequately appreciated by her peers. Her self-deprecating charm and conversational wit have made her a favorite at comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events, and other suspicious, rented spaces across the country. She was featured in her own regular segment (“Young as Hell”) on Laughs on FOX and can now be seen hosting the show every week. She has been featured on Gotham Comedy Live, Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central, and was a top ten finalist on season 9 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. She can be seen on the upcoming MTV show High Crimes.

Featuring: Abhay Nadkarni

Abhay is a comedian/writer/producer that moved from South-India to South Central Los Angeles for grad school. Dodging bullets en-route to grad school armed him with plenty of stories and stand up was his only catharsis for combating culture shock. His act is an eclectic mix of his experience as an immigrant in the US. He’s appeared on CBS, Audible’s “America from Abroad with Rob Delaney”, been featured in The Huffington Post, SF Chronicle, and been part of comedy festivals SF Sketchfest and the World Series of Comedy.
He recently completed a 20 show tour of India and is the co-creator of theDesi Comedy Fest– the largest south asian comedy festival in America.
He is also the co-creator of “The Setup”, a weekly comedy show featured as one of the best underground comedy shows in San Francisco by Thrillist and Timeout (2016).

Featuring: Phil Griffiths

As far as mid-life crisis go, Phil Griffiths’ wife stacks his career in stand up comedy as better than a drug addiction but worse than him having a mistress. With his dry deadpan humor, Phil performs all over the Bay Area and shares his slightly off observations on fatherhood. Phil has opened for Jermaine Fowler, Brad Williams and Myq Kaplan. Most recently Phil performed in the 2017 San Francisco Sketchfest and was a top ten finalist in the 2016 San Francisco Comedy Competition. He has also performed in the San Diego, Sacramento, Chico and Santa Cruz Comedy Festivals. Phil continues to host his own show, Comedy Sharks, a successful stand up comedy showcase that he has produced in the Bay Area since 2013.
