The Mission Position is a popular independent comedy showcase, hosted by five of San Francisco’s most accomplished comedians – Matt Lieb, Kate Willett, Jessica Sele, Torio Van Grol & Adrian McNair. Every Thursday, audiences fill Lost Weekend Video’s famous CineCave comedy den, for a show that provides club-level talent without irritating drink minimums or filler comics. The Mission Position welcomes a new lineup of special guests every week that include the Bay Area’s brightest comics alongside nationally touring headliners from NBC, TBS, E! and Comedy Central.

Kyle Ayers is a comedian, writer, actor, and all of that sort, living in New York City, by way of his hometown near Kansas City, Missouri. He brings his satirical look at growing up in the small town to the big city, with a unique viewpoint on his generation, our childhoods, and daily life. He was featured as a New Face in the illustrious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, where Time Out New York heralded him as a “breakout star,” saying that “Rural Missouri may have imbued the First Comes Love creator with an aw-shucks demeanor… but he has a progressive conviction praised by the likes of Brian Posehn and Canadian SiriusXM’s The Todd Shapiro Show.”
JASON EXPERTLY MIXES HIGH AND LOW ENERGY TO BRING THE AUDIENCE TO A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO TALK ABOUT UNCOMFORTABLE SUBJECTS.HE IS A WRITER FOR CRACKED.COM.
Danny Felts is a comedian hailing from the great fugue state of Portland, OR. His career in comedy began when he started yelling premises to nobody in a former bands practice space. Since then he has been lucky enough to replace that practice space with actual people. Danny’s comedy/wit is hella acerbic, and he was once described as a whimsical cynic; kind of like a trapeze artist who enjoys the cool intensity of Microsoft Excel, or a golden retriever with shifty eyes.
Felts has been fortunate enough to do some cool stuff. He’s performed multiple times on the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival, and the Salt Lake City Comedy Carnivale. He’s also been on Hell Yes Fest, Accidental Comedy Festival, and the Orlando Indie Comedy Fest. Recently he was on Kevin Allison’s storytelling show/podcast, RISK!, and has performed on The Moth.
