Kelly is well-known as the co-host of the internationally popular Downton Abbey podcast “Up Yours, Downstairs” and official third chair of Game of Thrones recap “Boars, Gore & Swords.” She is also artistic director for feminist sketch troupe Femikaze.
Duat Mai is an American stand up comedienne. He got his start in the San Francisco Bay Area performing at open mics and quickly moved up to showcases. He combines witty and interesting observations with a compelling delivery to hook the audiences from beginning to end. When people laugh they not only laugh but think, “that is true,” and “I have never looked at it that way.”
His comedy captivates all audiences from all racial background and all age ranges. After seeing one of his performances you will come away with a new way of thinking and start to spout out ideas you never thought was there.
Abhay Nadkarni started performing stand up out of pure boredom. He moved from South-India to South Central Los Angeles. “But Why?” would be a glaringly obvious question. Maybe he had a death wish or maybe he wanted to see if “Training Day” was legit or maybe, just maybe USC was the only school willing to give him an education. Jumping through hoops and dodging bullets en-route to grad school, desperately trying to finish his Master’s degree, armed him with plenty of stories. New to America and unable to cope with pressures of grad-school, stand up was his only catharsis. He started performing in 2006 in front of 2000 students at a Diwali Event at USC. That experience spawned off into a series of more traditional stand up performances across various venues in Los Angeles, San Diego and the Bay Area. His act is an eclectic mix of experiences in the US, India and elsewhere. His festival credits include the SLO Comedy Festival (2013), Ventura Comedy Festival (2014), The World Series of Comedy- Las Vegas (2014), Burbank Comedy Festival (2014) . He was also featured in the best of the fest at the Burbank Comedy Festival.
David Rosenberg is a hilarious Los Angeles-based comedian. He’ll be in San Francisco all week and he’s bringing his unique brand of humor along with him.
