Scott Simpson once came back to the U.S. from Japan by boat, lying to his girlfriend that it was for the adventure when really it was because he was afraid of flying. He’s now a full-time comedian and writer who has performed at SF Sketchfest, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and the North American Comedy and Music Festival. He makes jokes on Twitter as @scottsimpson, and his show “You Look Nice Today” has received the Podcast Award for Best Comedy Podcast. He also has a website, fully loaded with what you would expect to find on a modern website.
“Watching Frankie perform is like seeing 10 different people in one act.” –Pamela Ames.
He is the founder of For The People Comedy(www.ForThePeopleComedy.com), and has established himself as one of the top comedians coming out of the San Francisco comedy scene. Known for bringing originality to the stage with a fresh urban twist along with musical parodies that will have you at the edge of your seat. Always covering a wide range of characters and topics such as crazy Mexican uncles and short lived relationships.
He has become a comedy club favorite and regularly sells out shows all throughout California. Frankie has also toured with some of the industry’s top headliners including the legendary Paul Rodriguez, and has performed for our troops overseas in Japan, Europe, and the Middle East. Now residing in Los Angeles, Quinones is currently working on several upcoming projects and can be seen on a new late-night standup series on the Nickelodeon network.
Established in 1984 following the mergers of Steven and Cathy O’Shea, Kevin O’Shea has been one of San Francisco’s leading manufactures of mirth, laughter, hilarity and all around good times! Kevin has been commonly described as clever, absurd, awkward but in a funny way and too smart for his own good. He has been seen on the Independent Film Chanel and ComedyCentral.com. He is a favorite of comedy festivals such as: The SF Sketch Fest and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Go see him now as his 4th quarter productivity has never been higher!
David Gborie comes to party. He’s been telling jokes all over the country for a couple of years now and he is, in his words, “Pretty legit at it”. He currently lives in San Francisco where he is a member of Sylvan Productions and can be seen around town lurking at one of their many shows or at Crissy fields with his trusty crab pot. As a perfomer he’s appeared at The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SF Indie Fest, and Denver’s Too Much Funstival, as well as the SF Punchline, The Denver Comedy Works, and other impressive venues. He despises the word swag.
