Torio Van Grol
Torio Van Grol was first discovered by a gentleman naturalist in 1676, causing an uproar among the clergy, who claimed that he was placed on Earth by God as a test of faith. After much careful study, Torio has been widely accepted as real, though some controversy lingers. Many people believe that early humans coexisted peacefully with him, even caring for him and riding on his back as a form of transportation. But Torio is not strong enough to carry people, instead relying on speed, cunning and a bulletproof eBay rating for survival. His primary habitat is the comedy clubs of the Bay Area, California, but he has been spotted as far south as San Diego and as far north as Sonoma, grazing on the region’s naturally plentiful burritos. Torio is highly prized for his jokes, which are rumored to have aphrodisiacal properties. He is both fascinating and terrifying to children.
Keith D. is a funny comedian, published writer, and mediocre actor. He has been on shows with Dave Chappelle, Kyle Kinane, Ron Funches, and performed in actual comedy clubs like the Hollywood Improv, UCB Theater (LA), and the San Francisco Punchline. His raucous style of “punk rock comedy” has won the hearts and drinks of many audience members.
Ben Feldman is a standup comedian and comedy writer based in San Francisco (originally from the East Coast) who works the Bay Area’s top comedy clubs including the San Francisco Punchline, the San Jose Improv, Cobb’s Comedy Club, and Rooster T. Feathers, as well as clubs and venues throughout California and beyond. Ben has worked with Robin Williams, Tom Rhodes, Rory Scovel, Doug Benson, TJ Miller, Mike Birbiglia, Chris Kattan, Rick Overton, and Jeremy Hotz to name a few. Ben is a contributing writer for Rooftop Comedy and showcases some of his own work on iwritetalkshowjokes.com.
“Ben has a wonderful dry wit.”
