Lineup for September 19

This week the Mission Position has stellar lineup of comedians from near and far. We welcome Natasha Muse, Brendan Lynch, Anna Seregina, Kimberly Rose Wendt, and special guest from LA Brock Wilber.

Natasha Muse is a comedian, a skeptic, a mom, and at least the second-funniest transsexual you know. Her cerebral writing, whimsical wordplay, and unique perspective on life have earned her the adoration of audiences and the respect of her peers. Natasha performs regularly all over the Bay Area, including Cobb’s Comedy, the SF Punchline, and the Actors’ Theatre, where she produces and hosts “A Funny Night for Comedy” on the second Sunday of every month. Natasha is the winner of the 2010 Battle of the Bay competition, Miss Toolbox 2011, and also took home the Miss Photogenic trophy in Model Search 2004.

Brendan Lynch has established himself as a comedian to look out for in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a regular performer at clubs all over Northern California like The San Francisco Punchline and The San Jose Improv. Brendan has also been featured at SF Sketchfest, The San Francisco Comedy and Burrito Festival and The Great American Comedy Festival.

Anna Seregina is a San Francisco-based stand-up comic and performer. She was born in Moscow, Russia, which could explain her deep-rooted cynicism. It could also explain nothing. After being involved in theater and improv for nearly a decade and being funny for nearly a lifetime, she decided to take the plunge into stand-up comedy. Her style can nearly be defined as vocal and un-lady-like, drawing heavily on what little life experience she has. She has been described as having the “worst aura.” She has performed in the 2013 & 2012 SF Sketchfest, the inaugural SF Comedy & Burrito Festival, the 2012 SF Comedy Day Festival, and the Bruise Cruise Festival. She is a regular performer at the Porchlight Storytelling series, and winner of the Moth storySLAM. She was named a “Comic to Watch in 2013” by the SF Weekly, and picked as one of six emerging stand-up acts in the Bay Area comedy scene by Bold Italic. Most facts about her are true. Most truths about her are facts. She is a sensational dancer.

Kimberly Rose Wendt is the host and producer of the Bitchslap showcase, and also the funniest roller derby player you’re likely to meet.

Brock Wilber visits us from Los Angeles. He’s in town to record his second comedy album, which will be available on itunes really soon!
